GAB Neumann’s cleaning service
GAB Neumann offers on-site cleaning services for process equipment, systems, units and complete plants. We have developed a series of chemical cleaning procedures adapted to most common fouling issues. Our chemical cleaning technologies remove corrosion, hard water deposits, residual oils, minerals, and other items from process equipment without creating surface damage occasionally caused by traditional cleaning methods.

Chemicals employed:
- Adapted to the fouling issue

- The chemicals employed might include among others some softening agents, solvents, acids, bases, oxidizing media, reducing media, and / or complexing agents
Cleaning process:
- To begin with, the unit to be cleaned is inspected. The amount of fouling is assessed. The possibility to attend a chemical cleaning is evaluated. If possible and necessary some samples of the fouling layer are taken. Process related information are collected.
- If necessary some analyses are performed and some cleaning / dissolution attempts are carried out in our laboratory.
- A fixed price offer with a detailed description of the proposed cleaning process and the results to be expected is send to the customer.
- The cleaning is performed on-site in close coordination with the customer or in our workshop. A progress report is communicated to the customer during operation.
- A final report after the cleaning. It indicates what has been done and which results have been achieved.

GAB Neumann offers cleaning services for process equipment, systems, units and complete plants. We have developed a series of chemical cleaning procedures adapted to most common fouling issues. If necessary we can develop specific cleaning procedures that meet unique requirements. We can perform chemical tests in our dedicated laboratory to determine the most adapted chemicals to perform the cleaning without affecting the equipment. Our processes are essentially residue-free as all the by-products generated during the cleaning are taken care of.
GAB Neumann has developed a number of procedures for chemical cleaning projects to ensure safe and efficient cleaning and to minimize environmental impact. Custom planned work schedules greatly minimize interruptions to facility production and chemical formulations are carefully selected to be compatible with waste handling facilities. We take environmental protection very seriously, with diligent planning and on-site waste treatment, which reduces disposal volume of waste products.
We operate a specialized chemical cleaning equipment. This equipment includes self-contained mobile chemical cleaning units with high volume circulation pumps, mixing tanks, and heat exchangers. GAB Neumann’s crew connect the cleaning unit including the pumping unit, temporary hoses and pipework, heat exchangers, circulating tanks and analytical/control equipment to the piece of equipment or unit to be cleaned.
Our experienced crew members hold all the necessary skills, licenses and permits.
